About our School and Community

Located on the western shore of Lake Winnebago, Oshkosh is a safe community of just under 63,000.  Oshkosh Christian School/Valley Christian High School, founded in 1974,  is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) as a school of academic excellence, and also through AdvancED, the global leader in advancing education excellence through accreditation and school improvement.

All of our students must complete a rigorous core curriculum in order to qualify for graduation and can obtain 12 college credits through our CAPP (dual credit course offerings in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh) program prior to graduation.  We have a 100% graduation rate and nearly all of our students go on to some form of post-secondary educational training after graduation.  The graduating Class of 2012 had an average ACT score of 24.7. Our students' ACT scores have been significantly higher than state and national averages for the last five years.
